Our full-day tours venture farther into Resurrection Bay, to picturesque Fox Island, or even to the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park. Longer tours offer a better opportunity to find wildlife, perhaps even whales and orcas, and to explore our beautiful shorelines.

Full-Day Tour Wildlife Viewing Guide

We’ll guide you to wild places, paddle near an impressive tidewater glacier, and cruise on our private catamaran through Kenai Fjords National Park watching for whales, orca, sea lions, seals, porpoises, puffins eagles, and more. Really, this is two incredible tours, combined into one unforgettable day! Bring your camera, and your sense of awe and adventure, and get ready for a fully guided, mind-blowing day of wilderness, laughter, and adventure!
Our catamaran includes plenty of heated seating space inside, spacious deck space for wildlife viewing, and incredible stability while underway, making for a very comfortable ride. We’ve partnered with our friends at Seward Coastal Charters for our private ride into Kenai Fjords National Park. Just 12 nautical miles from Seward, Fox Island is a magical mix of temperate rainforest, sculpted cliffs, sea stacks, protected coves, and long pebbled beaches. Fox Island is a guide favorite, and it’s common to see seals, sea lions, eagles, puffins, and on especially lucky days, humpback whales or orcas. As we ply the waters of Fox Island, your guide will share stories of the island, its storied historic residents, and the flora and fauna surrounding you.

The surrounding waters have abundant marine life including sea lions, sea otters, orcas, and whales. Peregrine falcons, bald eagles, and kittiwakes can be seen flying above while puffin dive for dinner below. These tours are offered in partnership with The Alaska Collection & Kenai Fjords Tours.

Join us for a firsthand look at Seward, Lowell Point, and Resurrection Bay. Learn about Seward's history as we drive through town. Travel comfortably by van to our private beach, enjoying the stunning views along the way. This active adventure combines hiking and sea kayaking. Keep an eye out for wildlife and birds as we paddle along the shoreline. If time permits, we'll hike to Fort McGilvray.

This family-friendly fully guided sea kayaking and rain forest exploration combo trip is perfect for those who would like time to relax in their surroundings whether it be kayaking to a beautiful waterfall, sitting on washed-up driftwood on the beach, or walking through the moss-laden forest.
